Jack Dorsey calls Twitter Lightning Network integration a matter of time

Jack Dorsey calls Twitter Lightning Network integration a matter of time? Jack Dorsey stated that it is a matter of time before the integration of the second layer of Lightning Network Bitcoin payments based on Twitter is a matter of time. Initially, Dorsey praised the Sphinx Chat encrypted messenger, created using the Lightning Network. Following that, one of the users wondered if the entrepreneur was considering introducing the technology into one of the services. Dorsey, in turn, said it was "a matter of time", stressing that he was indeed considering the possibility of applying this technical solution in at least one of his two businesses. Meaning not only Twitter but also BlueSky a decentralized social network that has been actively developing since 2019. It is not yet known for what purpose Dorsey's brainchild could use the LN. But given that this year Twitter launched the option of “sponsoring” bloggers on its site, most likely the Lightning Network could be used as a micropayment within the social network. In parallel with this, the businessman is considering the possibility of creating a hardware cryptocurrency wallet under the auspices of his own payment company Square.
